Ceremonial Grade Criollo Cacao
The vast majority of the world’s cacao production involves other strains destined for use in chocolate or other confectionery products, but a small percentage is dedicated to the antioxidant- and theobromine-rich Criollo bean. Criollo cacao does contain a small amount of caffeine, roughly 1/10th of the average coffee bean.

The strong, chocolate flavour of our ceremonial-grade cacao hits first and then melts into sweet and spicy chai-like hit. It's dark, and has undertones of caramel and fruits.

Earthrise does contain a small amount of caffeine, roughly one tenth of the amount contained in a standard cup of coffee. This comes naturally from the cacao, but is experienced differently to caffeine that comes from coffee beans due to the accompanying high theobromine content. All of our ingredients are shipped to Melbourne where they’re assembled, packaged and distributed to you.

Because we use ceremonial grade cacao, it’s best to mechanically blend or mix your Earthrise with 150mL of hot water to unlock all of the benefits. We like ours with a bit of honey and oat milk, but you do you!
